Diabetes and Nutrition
Type 2 diabetes is the most common type of the disease, affecting 95 percent of people with diabetes. It affects people at any age, even during childhood. However, this type of diabetes develops most often in middle-aged and older people, and those who are overweight and inactive.
Blood glucose monitoring will be offered before the program.
