Breast Cancer: Genetics & Genomics

Alameda Black Breast Health Seminar Series

The third in an 11-part series by Dr. Candice Tompson, this discussion will be led by Dr. Allison W. Kurian M.D., M.Sc. & Director of Women’s Clinical Cancer Genetics Program at Stanford University School of Medicine.

The seminar will focus on:

-The difference between genetic mutations (genes within your DNA) and genomics (alterations of the tumor DNA).

-What to look for within your family to determine if you may be at higher risk of breast cancer.

Join us for the discussion!

Lunch will be provided.
